Wines are absolutely beautiful and are intended to be enjoyed. Some folks taste dozens of wines per day, spit them out, pour them out and really don't enjoy them. That's not me. I open a bottle, often decant it, swirl the heck out of it and taste it - really taste it. There is no brown bag blind tasting. I study the label, the aromas, the flavors and learn about the winemaker, the winery, the process and the appellation.
